The ideal reel to pair with the AXIA Charter Boat rod, a 20/30lb class sized reel finished in a neat matt black. Featuring three stainless steel ball bearings, it has a smooth 3.8:1 retrieve that is ideal for fishing in shallow to medium depths, with plenty of cranking power to tackle most species you’re likely to encounter. The power handle makes it efficient to wind in, and an ergonomic drag knob makes drag adjustment easy. A level wind takes the headache out of keeping line level on the reel while the spool has a centre pin for line attachment before loading it. The line out alarm is useful when fishing for bigger fish that can run.
